The purpose of this institute will be to explore ways we as teachers can use the many features and offerings of Web 2.0 to promote dialog in and across our classrooms.

1. What are the tools and resources?
2. What will this mean for rethinking literacy teaching in our classrooms?
3. What will this mean for engaging in professional learning?
4. How can we bring a critical eye to this work?

We will begin the week by exploring what we as a community mean by dialog and Web 2.0. We will then explore various tools available for Web 2.0. We will end the week discussing how these tools and practices can be applied to the classroom.
